Reaching up to the present time the history of bracelets is spans ages. Some bracelets are also crafted from metals like titanium and zirconium, which have become popular. Soldiers wore defensive bands of leather often decorated with gold, silver, and other gemstones on their forearms. Because of their lightness and hypoallergenic properties bracelets are popular. Bracelets became increasingly popular with men during Grecian times. From the Latin term they were called Bracels for arm, "Brachium". They have been crafted from different materials. And it has always been popular - bracelets have varied according to dress styles and, of course, dictated by fashion. They make for trendy, unique items of jewelry. Like a women bracelets are also worn by men. Bracelets today are not only of traditional materials, but also of acrylics and modern plastics. The Grecian women realized that these accessories would look good on them, so they began wearing smaller versions called Bracel etc. The male sexual energy is not only for the actual act of love making but is a sense of expression that illuminates off of the man. There are male and female tendencies that run through all of our bodies and by the man wearing this stone, it helps the male tendencies to uplift and strengthen its flow which brings out more of the male energy than that of the feminine energy that he has within his body. It makes him seem like he really knows who he is and this knowledge emanates all around him which makes him very intriguing. Firstly we talked about the cut of the stone. Now finding a good quality bright green tourmaline with this cut is not impossible to find but can be tricky so we decided that custom cutting was the way forward. We custom cut the green tourmaline from a larger cushion stone to create the look. We combined the chequer board facetted cut on top but with a more square proportioned shape rather than oval. The lapidaries squared up the proportions and then facetted the top of the stone. This creating a square cushion shape with a facetted top! Donna felt a straight sided square stone would be a little harsh so decided that she would like to have the stone with softened corners. The initial stone was 1.72cts and ended up at 1.05ct. After being cut gemstone it is difficult. We searched for a green tourmaline of the right colour that could be cut to shape. The twist ring is simple in style holds the tourmaline for a modern design. |
